At its annual Salute to Education event, CISD honored Teachers of the Year, Rising Stars. Humanitarians of the Year and Friends of Education from each campus. Paxton Mooney from Ride Elementary was honored as CISD Elementary Teacher of the Year. He was recognized for helping his students find their voices and helping them grow and succeed.
